Researchers interested in deepening gender issues-based approaches, Press Officers, Communication Officers, Third Sector Operators (Social cooperatives, NGOs, Associations etc.), Legal Professions.
OBJECTIVES OF COURSE
Attention to ethic issues is very linked to the establishment of a legislative approach that is based on the regulation of social and professional relations. The course aims at giving a methodological support to those who consider women as the supporting axis of every scientific activity.
TEACHING CONTENTS
I MODULE (One Day)
– Elements of Methodology of social research, Communication science, sociology, anthropology, philosophy and history. Analysis of gender differences (one hour)
– Basic notions: “the plural feminine”, ethic issues applied to scientific methodology, comparison among feminisms (one hour)
– The importance of a clear and coherent ethic paradigm (two hours)
– Ethic from women point of view (one hour)
– Feminist ethic (one hour)
– Female Thinking: project design (one hour)
– Female Thinking: evaluation of a project (one hour)
II MODULE (One Day)
– Coexistence of feminine ethic and feminist ethic: analysis of feminine language (two hours)
– Exercise: To read a feminine research project (one hour)
– Exercise: the “female” as added value (one hour)
– Gender differences evaluated and corrected (one hour)
– Exercise: Ethic of gender difference, comparison among situations (two hours)
– Case study: plurality of feminine universe (one hour)
TRAINING METHODOLOGIES
The course entirely develops in class. Frontal lessons and concrete exercises will be duly balanced.
TRAINING MATERIAL
At the beginning of each lesson students will receive printed slides. During lessons, websites and useful links will be communicated to students and this material will be used for the development of different simulation exercises.
DURATION OF COURSE
The course will last 16 hours.
