OBJECTIVES OF COURSE
Bilateral economic relations imply the adoption of specific juridical, administrative and technical practices. Often in financial transactions there are “grey zones” that show themselves through discordance, lack of transparent communication and silence. Adopting mediation procedures becomes of primary importance, if companies want to establish communication synergies in order to conclude trade agreements. This course fits into actions models that deal with the quick resolution of every conflicts.
TEACHING CONTENTS
I MODULE (One Day)
– Elements of Communication Science, Business Economics, Sociology and Criminology applied to mediation and conflict resolution (one hour)
– Basic notions: Due Diligence, Transparency, corruption, loyalty, collaboration (one hour)
– Identification and understanding of critical factors of success (one hour)
– Transparency ethics and Due Diligence in international and national trade relations (one hour)
– Informal Mediation Strategies (two hours)
– International and National Legislative framework of reference (one hour)
– Exercise: strengths and weaknesses of Trade Mediation (one hour)
II MODULE (One Day)
– Prevention of damages strategies towards every party involved in transaction (two hours)
– Trade Relation Maintenance strategies with the other party (one hour)
– Exercise: Relational system of and in Trade Mediation (one hour)
– Deontological and Ethical Aspects of Mediation (one hour)
– Techniques and styles in voluntary mediation (two hours)
– Case study: Conflict analysis parameters and conflict resolution (one hour)
TRAINING METHODOLOGIES
The course entirely develops in class. Frontal lessons and concrete exercises will be duly balanced.
TRAINING MATERIAL
At the beginning of each lesson students will receive printed slides. During lessons, websites and useful links will be communicated to students and this material will be used for the development of different simulation exercises.
DURATION OF COURSE
The course will last 16 hours.
