TARGET
Project Managers, Area Managers and Assistants, Project Designers, Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Researchers interested or involved in the elaboration of project proposals, for the participation to European, national or local call for proposals.
OBJECTIVES OF COURSE
The course aims at giving to students basic knowledge about European Design strategies, starting from elements composing a project: deep analysis of documentation of the call, tools and fundamental designing techniques and their characteristics.
TEACHING CONTENTS
I MODULE: the initial analysis phase (One Day)
– Definition and characteristics of a project (one hour)
– The Project Cycle Management and the Goal Oriented Project Planning (one hour)
– The Logical Framework Approach (two hours)
– Simulation exercises
– The Problems Tree and the Objectives Tree (two hours)
– Simulation exercises
– The strategies Analysis (two hours)
– Simulation exercises
II MODULE: Designing and Structure of projects (One Day)
– The Project Designing Phase (two hours)
– Simulation exercises
– In-depth Analysis: comparison between the Logical Framework Approach and the Project Cycle Management Phases (two hours)
– From the Project Cycle Management to the structure of projects (two hours)
– Budget and the other sources of funding (two hours)
– Concrete Cases Analysis
TRAINING METHODOLOGIES
The course entirely develops in class. Frontal lessons and concrete exercises will be duly balanced.
TRAINING MATERIAL
At the beginning of each lesson students will receive printed slides. During lessons, websites and useful links will be communicated to students and this material will be used for the development of different simulation exercises.
DURATION OF COURSE
The course will last 16 hours.
